Help us document and celebrate lives saved through the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign! As a Lives Saved Lead, you'll play a critical role in recognizing the impact of our preparedness efforts by verifying cases where smoke alarms or preparedness education helped clients escape a home fire. Documenting these stories helps raise awareness, gain support, and ultimately save more lives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the National Community Preparedness & Resilience Services team to identify and cross-reference cases of documented home fires with addresses where the Red Cross previously installed smoke alarms or provided preparedness education.
- Verify details of each case to confirm if Red Cross interventions helped individuals escape safely.
- Accurately document cases of lives saved for potential recognition by our Communications team.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with data entry and cross-referencing information (preferred but not required).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information.
- Passion for the Red Cross mission and an interest in community preparedness and resilience.
Location & Time Commitment:
This role is flexible and can be performed remotely. Time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month, with the potential for additional hours depending on case volume.
