Future Arts Project Manager (Creative Projects)

Organization: Future Arts, a women-led 501c3 non-profit organization

Location: Remote/Hybrid (depending on project needs)

Duration: 3-6 months (part-time, flexible hours)

Overview:

Future Arts is seeking a motivated and organized Master's student to join our team for 2025 creative projects. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creative collaboration, project management, and arts-based innovation and technology for good. The Creative Project Manager will oversee the planning and execution of multidisciplinary creative projects, working closely with artists, technologists, and community stakeholders, with a focus on the Seattle area cultural and technology scene.

• Project Coordination: Manage timelines, deliverables, and milestones for creative projects, ensuring alignment with Future Arts' mission and goals.

• Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between project participants, including artists, designers, and external partners.

• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and track project budgets.

• Creative Input: Contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes and foster meaningful storytelling and community-focused development

• Evaluation & Reporting: Monitor project progress, assess outcomes, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring community voices are heard and data is put directly into actionable growth

• Current enrollment in a Master’s program in Arts Administration, Creative Industries, Project Management, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in managing creative or interdisciplinary projects.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Google Docs, Notion, Asana, and Slack

• A passion for arts, cultural, civic, and technology industries

• Ability to work independently, with a collaborative spirit rooted in Emergent Strategy

• Hands-on experience in managing impactful creative projects that will directly impact Seattle’s historic cultural development

• Networking opportunities with professionals in the arts and technology sectors.
