    About Difference Driven

    MORII Community Center, DBA Difference Driven, is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, founded in September 2023. Our organization offers programs for African American youth who live in the Mecklenburg County (Charlotte), NC. Our three organizational pillars include a Creatives Hub, Financial and Workforce Development, and Holistic Health. Our volunteers are essential to our success and help us engage with community needs in the most efficient manner.

    Volunteer Responsibilities

    • Assist with program activities
    • Help with administrative tasks
    • Mentor or tutor program participants
    • Fundraising and event planning
    • Social Media Management
    • Writing newsletters and promotional materials

    Volunteer Requirements

    • Passion for making a difference in the community
    • Ability to work with youth and young adults
    • Strong communication skills
    • Reliability and commitment to the organization's mission
    • Positive attitude
