One Community, a nonprofit organization in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, is looking for a volunteer for one of our programs called the Sharing Network. The Sharing Network offers fun and welcoming phone conversation groups on a variety of topics for socially isolated and chronically homebound seniors, especially those in public housing in Brooklyn.

We are in need of a volunteer to remind a short list of seniors, via text and phone call, about their conversation groups each week. The volunteer must be available at least one weekday, between the hours of 4:30 and 6pm. There is a very short and simple script to follow. This role is essential in making sure neighborhood seniors regularly attend programs that benefit them.

Please reach out to Olivia at 929-367-8479 or grondy@onecommunitynyc.org if you are interested or to get more information.
