Who we are

Remineralize the Earth (RTE) is a Northampton, MA-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization engaged in a variety of projects both domestically and internationally that promote the use of finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils. Through our education and outreach, projects, research, and advocacy, RTE facilitates a worldwide movement that brings together gardeners and farmers, scientists and policymakers, and the public to regenerate soils and forests around the world, increase the nutritional quality and yield of food, and stabilize the climate through carbon sequestration.

We work with local and virtual volunteers on a program management system called Basecamp. Our team is made up of federal work-study students as well as graduate students, researchers, and other professionals.

Description:

You will be working on the Let's Remineralize! K-12 Science Ed, a hands-on and interactive project that will introduce students to remineralization. There are initial designs of 2 pages that are already designed out and partially coded. Your job would be to design the remaining 3 to 5 pages in the same style as the initial designs. Designs are in Figma.

You will have the support and guidance of the designer who made the initial designs. Your designs would be handed off to a developer who you may need to work with from time to time. Coding experience is useful, but not necessary.

Start date: Role is for an immediate start once the volunteer is onboarded and feels acquainted with RTE and ongoing.
