Started in 2018, The Leo Project provides supportive services, creative outlets, and opportunities not traditionally available to the most vulnerable youth and their families in Nanyuki, Kenya. Our resource center provides our 4,000+ beneficiaries with access to computers, coding, art, music, trauma counseling, financial literacy, mindfulness, a library and tutoring. We are piloting, implementing and sustaining these services as a means to unite, empower and - most importantly - heal the community and drive social change.

The Leo Project is seeking a volunteer/intern to help with graphic design for social media, communications and development. The ideal candidate is a creative and driven storyteller with a passion for education and social justice. This experience will boost your resume and enhance the skills that you have learned in college or graduate school, and help prepare for your future career.

Job Location: Remote but, depending on travel regulations, candidate will also have the option to travel to Nanyuki, Kenya and stay at The Leo Project where room, board and a monthly stipend would be provided.

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who is proficient in graphic design.
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written skills.
  • Creativity and out of the box thinking is a must. We are small but looking to grow quickly and we want your insight.

Responsibilities:
