Minds Matter is looking for college graduates who can dedicate two hours on Saturdays to help our accomplished and motivated students achieve their dreams of college success.

Minds Matter connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world.

Through a highly selective and rigorous 3-year academic mentoring program, Minds Matter students accomplish the extraordinary: 100% of Minds Matter program graduates are accepted into a four-year college and more than 70% of them attend the nation’s selective colleges. Powered by over 2,000 volunteers nationwide, Minds Matter chapters are located in 14 cities across the country.

Minds Matter Portland is managed exclusively by volunteers–we don't have a single paid staff member. Our team comprises young professionals who represent many diverse companies and organizations in the Portland area.
