In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, January 17th is the National Day of Service. We encourage community members to host drives, collect donations, and create resilience kits through the end of the month. These donations are essential to the youth and young adults that we serve. Providing necessities such as food, hygiene products, and winter gear is the first step in helping us end the youth homelessness crisis and ending the generational cycle of poverty. As MLK himself once said: 'The time is always right to do what is right.' Drop off days for donations will be on January 17, 18th, 25, and February 1st from 11 am-4 pm. The location will be at the Marygrove Campus at the Florent Gillet Building, 8425 W McNichols Rd. Detroit, MI 48221 For more information email: mbluth@detroitphoenixcenter.org
