Drawing upon expert educators, our reviews of instructional materials and support of smart adoption processes equip teachers with excellent materials nationwide.

Project Overview:

EdReports seeks an experienced individual consultant to inventory and organize the instructional materials currently located in our storage unit.

We anticipate that this will require approximately 40 hrs over the duration of this project. 

Contractor must be based within a reasonable driving distance of the storage facility in Metairie, LA.

Project scope of work:

The scope of this project includes inventory and organizing  of instructional materials currently located in our storage unit.

  • Inventory contents of unit in a spreadsheet including title, publisher, ISBN #, etc.
  • Ensure there is one copy of each set of materials in storage
  • Remove and dispose of (recycle) any inventory older than five years
  • Unbox and verify previous inventory in conjunction with existing inventory sheet
  • Consultant will track hours and submit detailed invoices on a weekly basis

Project Manager: Academic Coordinator 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to confidentially handle information
  • Ability to physically move FedEx boxes and books up to 50 lbs.
  • High-level of drive and energy to meet deadlines and execute work exceptionally
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Tech savvy, must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

Proposal submissions: Please submit your proposal, including but not limited to: 

  • Background: Name, title and contact information.
  • Experience: Tell us about your relevant experience. A resume may be submitted in lieu of this section if your relevant experience appears within your resume. Resume with description of experience in project and materials management or other relevant experience.
  • Cost and availability: The project begins October 23, 2020 or ASAP and cost should not exceed $800. We anticipate this project will require 40 hrs of work total over a period of one month. Contractor must be based within a reasonable driving distance of the storage facility in Metairie, LA.
  • References: Testimonials from past clients or list of references

Most favorable terms: 

  • EdReports reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of the proposal submitted. Therefore, the proposal should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms that the vendor could propose. There will be no best-and-final-offer procedure. EdReports does reserve the right to contact a vendor for clarification of its proposal.
  • The vendor should be prepared to accept this request for proposal for incorporation into a contract resulting from this request for proposal. Contract negotiations may incorporate some or the vendor’s entire proposal. It is understood that the proposal will become a part of the official procurement file on this matter without obligation to EdReports.

No obligation to contract: This request for proposal does not obligate EdReports to contract for services specified herein.

Rejection of proposals: EdReports reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this request for proposal.
