    Description

    Volunteer Position: Office Assistant

    Position Overview:

    The Village of Hope is seeking a dedicated and organized volunteer to join our team as an Office Assistant. This role involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. The ideal candidate will assist with filing paperwork, answering phone calls, and performing various office duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Organize and file patient records, documents, and other paperwork accurately.
    • Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate staff, and take messages as needed.
    • Greet and assist visitors and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to clinic policies regarding patient information.
    • Assist with data entry, copying, and other administrative tasks as required.
    • Support clinic staff with various projects and tasks to ensure efficient operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Previous experience in an office setting is a plus but not required.
