Form and Function, an online afterschool program that teaches middle schoolers how to code an interactive website in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Bit by bit, students will learn to code! We’re looking for volunteers who know the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A little programming experience is required but we are happy to teach more! We provide free training for coding instructors. Volunteers teach, write curriculum, and have fun.
There are three sessions for Form and Function: Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:00pm PT, Thursdays from 4:45 to 5:45pm PT, and Fridays from 4:45 to 5:45pm PT. Volunteer for all three days or only one. Either way we would love to have you! Form and Function will run from the week of the 27th of September through the week of the 23rd of May. There are optional meetings every other Thursday from 6:00 to 6:30pm PT.
Gain loads of volunteer hours, join a group of like-minded individuals, and introduce middle schoolers to the power of code. We’ll teach you coding, communication, and instructional skills and help you gain invaluable experience! Learn more at: bitbybitcoding.org/volunteer
