Volunteer Soccer Coach - Refugee Youth Soccer Camp

L.A.C.E.S. or Life and Change Experienced thru Sports, is a non-profit organization that leverages the power of sport to mentor at-risk refugee youth who have recently resettled in in the greater Washington, D.C. area. We are currently seeking volunteers and coaches for our sixth annual Refugee Youth Soccer Camp from July 25 - 29, 2022. If you’re available all week or just a few hours a day we need you!

We are also accepting applications for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions. Coaches will have the opportunity to work with 9 - 14 year-old youths from over seven different nations. Each Head Coach will be paired with an Assistant Coach, and will work with ten children every day.

We ask that all coaches and volunteers arrive for set-up at 8:00 AM each day of the camp, followed by soccer sessions from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM, and lunch from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. If you are not available all week, you may indicate dates and times you are available on the application.
