    Commitment: 3–6 hours per week | 3–6 months

    About Change Me Foundation

    Change Me Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through mental health advocacy, youth development, and community wellness. Based in Broward County, Florida, we serve underserved families through outreach, case management, education, and mental health awareness events like our annual Walk In My Shoes Children’s Mental Health 5K & Community Resource Fair.

    We believe that every child and family deserves access to wellness, hope, and opportunity—and we need passionate volunteers like you to help us sustain and expand this mission through strategic funding opportunities.

    Impact

    Your research and writing will directly fuel our ability to expand youth mental health, wellness, and advocacy programs across South Florida. By identifying funding partners and helping secure grants, you’ll help us continue to turn trauma into success for hundreds of youth and families every year.

    What You’ll Do

    • Research and identify potential grant opportunities and funders aligned with Change Me Foundation’s mission.
    • Outline and draft compelling proposals, narratives, and budgets (in collaboration with program staff).
    • Track submission calendars, manage deadlines, and maintain organized grant documentation.
    • Contribute ideas to strengthen our funding strategy and storytelling around impact.

    You Are

    • A strong writer and critical thinker who enjoys research and storytelling.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of turning complex program data into compelling narratives.
    • Comfortable working independently while collaborating virtually with a passionate team.
    • Experienced in nonprofit writing, grant research, or academic writing (preferred but not required).

    Requirements

    • Writing sample (1–2 pages; professional, academic, or creative).
    • Completion of onboarding and training using Change Me Foundation’s templates and systems.
    • Access to a computer and internet connection.

    Location

    Remote or Hybrid (for those based in Broward County, FL). Volunteers may join team meetings virtually or attend in-person events if available.

    Hours & Commitment

    • 3–6 hours per week
    • 3–6 month commitment (flexible schedule)
