    Social Media Manager

    About Us:

    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team!

    What you’ll do:

    • Develope a cohesive and effective content strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and target audience
    • Create and curate high-quality and engaging content for social media platforms including designing graphics, writing captions and posts, editing videos, and more
    • Engaging with the audience in a genuine and meaningful way to build relationships and foster positive interactions
    • Plan and execute social media campaigns, which could include product launches, contests, promotions, or collaborations with influencers
    • Stay updated on the features and best practices of different social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tailoring content accordingly to fit each platform's unique characteristics
    • Use analytics tools provided by social media platforms (or third-party tools) to track the performance of posts and campaigns.

    What we’re looking for:

    • 1+ years of experience leading social media content strategy, demonstrating successful management of social media platforms and campaigns
    • Experience in analyzing social media metrics and insights to inform strategy and measure the performance of campaigns
    • Ability to develop and implement social media strategies to achieve organizational goals, such as increasing brand awareness, engagement, or driving traffic to websites
    • Proficiency in creating engaging and creative content for social media, including text, image, and video content
    • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective audiences
