    Description

Drive for a food pantry shuttle

You can deliver groceries to guests of a local Albany food pantry home. Help someone, often an elderly person, get his or her heavy groceries back home. Our volunteer drivers do a two-hour shift and it's a shuttle service from the food pantry in the City of Albany to surrounding neighborhoods. You will have the true appreciation of these shoppers who often have no other choice but to walk home in all kinds of upstate NY weather. Pantry is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-2:30.
