Volunteer at Story Garden: A free, fun arts and learning space for families!

Story Garden is a free program for family engagement, creativity, learning and fun! It takes place every Saturday, from about 10 AM to 3 PM at the Gallup, New Mexico, flea market. Story Garden welcomes families with children of all ages.

Volunteers are welcome and appreciated for shifts of 1 hour or longer. The volunteer role includes helping with art workshops, reading stories with children, playing learning games with children, and welcoming visitors to the space. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own ideas and skills to the program!

Volunteers with more time are invited to join our facilitation team during the week to prepare books and activities for the upcoming Saturday.

Orientation and a brief training is offered to anyone interested in volunteering at Story Garden.
