Mondays - Pantry team - Freezer fulfillment
Every week on Mondays, The Giving Room food bank is open for neighbors to come receive food (9:30am-12:45pm). Our pantry team works to stock the shelves and fulfill fridge/freezer orders while our guests shop the shelves for pantry items. Volunteers in the freezer fulfillment role help by selecting the right meat cuts from the freezer for our guests' menu selections. You will arrive around 30 minutes early (~9am) to familiarize yourself with the menu and freezer contents and will be standing and moving between freezers for the entirety of your shift. Another volunteer will be fulfilling fridge orders on the same menu. At times this position will require clarifying menu selections with guests in the pantry space.
