    Description

Social Media Specialist for Florence Fang Community Farm

Do you want to help protect the environment and work with a fun diverse group of people? Does working to battle food insecurity at a Bay Area community farm sound like something you want to do? Then you should join the team at FFCF!

The Florence Fang Community Farm (FFCF) is looking for someone well versed in social media marketing to help grow our organization and our virtual community. You will work with our social media team focusing on Instagram, create weekly presentations on the growth of the account, set up plans with our partners, update data sheets, help compose posts, lead social media engagement and outreach with partners, and new accounts, etc. You will need to have a background in social media, be creative, quick thinking, have organization skills, and be good with time management. Our community farm brings together a network of different groups and is centered around bringing awareness to environmental sustainability, cultural diversity, and healthy living and eating practices. As well as growing produce on our own we also partner with different groups to bring local fresh produce to the people of our community.

The Florence Fang Community Farm is one of SF's largest and most active urban farms. We have 40 to 50 gardeners. We are very diverse and work with all groups in the neighborhood. We also operate a food pantry every Saturday morning serving 300 local families. The garden is located at 1 Diana Street in SF's Bayview district. https://ffcommunityfarm.org/

This is a fun and exciting assignment with a lot of freedom and autonomy to make a huge difference. You can be part of a great community success story for San Francisco!
