    Description

    OUR MISSION

Partners for Change Tri-Valley equips and empowers people to chart their course out of poverty to self-sufficiency through an education and mentorship program focused on poverty alleviation. We foster positive community by intentionally creating personal relationships that bridge socioeconomic lines.

Throughout the course, the Participants set goals for meaningful life improvement areas, and they are partnered with volunteer mentors to form a guidance and support system.

The Participants and Mentors meet regularly to build friendships and do the hard work required to achieve the Participant’s goals for self-sustainability.

We are looking for new board members. The board meets once a month and periodically for special events. In addition to someone with a passion for and understanding of helping people in poverty create real and effective life change, we are looking for board members with strong experience in accounting/bookkeeping, fundraising, and social media. If you have other skills not listed, please feel free to still reach out for more information.
