WORLD FRIENDS for AFRICA is selected for a set of TRAININGS on Poultry, Training & Extension in the Netherlands in 2019.

As part of this training, WORLD FRIENDS FOR AFRICA is developing MODULES for Farmers, introducing NEW KNOWLEDGE, NEW INITIATIVES and TECHNOLOGIES to modernize AGRICULTURE through INCLUSION and DIVERSITY.

There are 80% of the population living from farming, but repeatedly, the Country faces food crisis and remain dependent on food aid, rain patterns, poor seeds..

All key players are needed in this mission: Organizations/Governments/ Farmers/agribusinesses/companies/ tech players/ donors...

The Challenges:

Youth employment, low productivity, Access to service and fund, Investment capital, Climate change...

The good news is from a recent field visit in January 2019, we have identified in a great agricultural region, farmers and unions, cooperatives interested in acquiring and disseminating new progressive ways all over their region.

WORLD FRIENDS for AFRICA is looking forward to mobilizing this engine to set up development area through the construction of a local TRAINING CENTRE where can both meet FARMERS, INTERNS, VOLUNTEERS, CONSULTANTS...FRIENDS.. promoting the agricultural sector.

The project is targeting key farmers' groups in this landlocked area under the mountains and hills in this rural villages near BANFORA in the CASCADE region in Burkina Faso, a well appreciated area by all international tourists because of the beauty of his climate and falls.

The total cost of the pilot project includes the Building of facilities: blocks of guesthouses, training rooms, Equipments, Training materials...

We need your advice and support for hiring a Fundraising person to join our steering committee for the implementation of this important project in Africa. 

S/he will help develop a strategy and suggest ways to achieve this challenge
