ETIV is offering a new program for the year 2023 and aims to maintain this program. The objective of this program is to offer theoretical and practical knowledge, awaken students' interest in technology, bring new perspectives of life, technical training, and a desire to know and explore this area full of possibilities and challenges. The target audience is High School students between the ages of 12 and 17 years old.

    Importance of the role:

One of the reasons why IT is so important here is because it offers high job opportunities. As some of you may know, the IT industry is constantly growing and there is a demand for professionals all over the world. Furthermore, this class will provide valuable skills.

As most of the community does not have access to computers or electronic devices, this class will allow students to learn how these useful tools function allowing them to use administration tools such as Google Office or Microsoft Office. This will contribute to their future and to their life in the workforce, as well as help them develop skills that are highly valued in any industry and can be useful in any career they choose to pursue.

You will be teaching different things such as: How to format a computer, Operating systems (Linux and Android), programming logic, programming with shell script, Blockchain, NFT, etc.

The classes are theoretical and practical with a focus on the latter. Eventually, the classes will take the form of practical workshops at the ETIV headquarters, during which students will be able to propose projects that they can put into practice using the knowledge they acquired.

    • To assist the IT program coordinator
    • To teach many of the core values that lay the foundation for ETIV's work, also listed on our website.

    Secondary responsibilities:

An important value at Etiv, is to allow the volunteer to grow and make use of all the strengths one may have. Therefore, we encourage all our volunteers to participate in our many projects and sometimes even create their own. You will need to assist in other programs if needed and participate in our monthly events. For example, we always plan a World Day event.
