Support Services for Older Adults (ages 60+) in Benicia/Vallejo

Carquinez Village is recruiting volunteers to provide supportive services to its members and to help with the work of the organization. The Village specializes in providing services such as transportation, simple handyman tasks, gardening, and tech help for its senior members in Benicia and Vallejo. Such services help seniors who want to remain living in their homes as they age but need some extra help. Often a friendly phone call makes a big difference to someone who is homebound. Opportunities to volunteer also include creating and providing social, educational, and cultural programs--all designed to enrich the lives of our members and volunteers. Our committees always need people who have just a few hours a month to devote to membership recruiting, communications, fundraising, virtual office, and other rewarding tasks.
