Seeking Warm Hearts: Volunteer Receptionist Needed! (Laguna Hills)

Do you enjoy connecting with people and making a difference? We're looking for a friendly and organized volunteer receptionist to join our team at Age Well's Florence Sylvester Senior Center in Laguna Hills

About the Position:

This is an ongoing weekly volunteer opportunity on Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. As the face of our center, you'll play a vital role in welcoming visitors and assisting them with their needs. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who thrive in a positive and people-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors with a warm smile and provide a positive first impression.
• Answer phones professionally and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
• Provide information about our classes, programs, and other center offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist staff with light administrative tasks (filing, copying, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for our mission and a passion for serving the community (a plus!).
• Computer literacy preferred but not required.

We will provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
