    About Outside with Recess Village:

    Outside with Recess Village is a dynamic organization dedicated to celebrating Black travel, leisure, and recreation while fostering connections to nature, culture, and community. We curate unique and memorable outdoor experiences aimed at promoting holistic wellness and cultural enrichment among our participants.

    Role Overview:

    The Grants and Fundraising Coordinator will support OWRV in securing funding through grant research, writing, and fundraising initiatives. This role will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for financial sustainability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research grant opportunities and maintain a funding calendar.
    • Assist with grant writing, editing, and submission of applications.
    • Track deadlines and reporting requirements for secured grants.
    • Identify new funding sources, including foundation, government, and corporate giving programs.
    • Support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and research skills.
    • Grant writing experience (preferred but not required).
    • Knowledge of nonprofit funding landscapes is a plus.

    Time Commitment: 5-8 hours per month
