Box Factory for the Arts – St. Joseph, MI

About the Role:

As the first face visitors see when they walk through our doors, our Front Desk Volunteers play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and helpful environment. You’ll greet guests, answer basic questions, help visitors find their way around the building, and support our Art Market by ringing up sales.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and provide a friendly, helpful presence.
• Answer questions about the Box Factory, our galleries, studios, and events.
• Direct guests to studios, exhibits, or event spaces.
• Assist with sales in the Art Market (training provided).
• Help keep front desk area tidy and organized.
• Provide general support to staff as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide range of people.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to commit to a regular shift (flexible scheduling available).
• Basic comfort with handling sales transactions (training provided).

Time Commitment:
