Spanish Interpreters Needed for 2021 INCLUDEnyc Fair

The INCLUDEnyc Fair is New York City’s largest annual fair for young people with disabilities, where they can connect with summer camps, recreational programs, supports, and services from the safety and convenience of their own home. This year, our event will take place on Brazen’s virtual fair platform allowing for families to chat with vendors through text, audio, or video calls. 

We are seeking volunteers to help with interpretation for our Spanish speaking families. Volunteers will speak with families over the phone to support with the following:

• Guide the families through the event and explain the different types of vendors that are available

• Attend virtual exhibitor chats (text, audio, or video) on behalf of the families as the interpreter

• Gathering resources (flyers, brochures, etc.) from booths that have Spanish translated materials

Volunteers will be matched with a family or individual through our Help Line and will spend approximately 30-45 minutes on call per family.
