PM4Change is looking for entry level website enthusiasts with some experience in creating and maintaining fully functional websites, and intranets. The goal for this position is to hire personnel that are well versed in social media interactions, coding in several languages, and able to work under senior business analysts and project managers to deliver results in a fast changing environment. Successful candidates will have proven discipline in team work, sharp programming and technical skills, live environment management, and timely deliveries. This is an exciting opportunity to show how a website project can transform a non-profit success.


Responsibilities:

  • Build next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side
  • Integrating data from various front end, back-end services and databases
  • Design, implement, test and manage new web-based applications as well as ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the existing applications
  • Participate in all aspects of Agile software development lifecycle
  • Assist client support personnel in the remediation of production issues, defects, and bugs
  • Author and update functional requirements and technical design documentation
  • Validate test plans and scenarios
  • Stay up-to-date on technology


Preferred Skills (some if not all):

  • 1-2 years experience working as a professional developer
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, JSPs, Ajax, SQL, HTML5, python, PHP and CSS
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, good judgment, high ethical standards and a strong work ethic
  • Experience in Android or iOS application development
