Description

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers, is a 124-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services which significantly improve the lives of 15,000 people in need each year on the East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking volunteers to teach an intermediate level English as a Second Language class for adults. Our English as a Second Language program provides high quality, interactive instruction to a diverse student body. We seek to increase students' language skills, confidence in speaking and comprehension of English. Volunteers can pick to teach a class on Mondays or Fridays, 9:15am - 12:15pm.
