Description

Kings County Tennis League (KCTL) is a registered 501c3 non-profit that uses tennis as an instrument for mentorship and community building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. We literally bring tennis to the children’s communities.

By bringing tennis to kids right where they live, KCTL seeks to build a future in which:

  • Every child in Brooklyn has regular access to an activity that is healthy, stimulates their personal growth, and exposes them to new concepts, cultures, people and possibilities.
  • KCTL and Brooklyn residents enjoy a relationship built on trust and respect that empowers families to support the development of their children and their community.
  • KCTL's approach to "localizing tennis" serves as a replicable, scalable model to engage and inspire youth in underserved communities through non-traditional activities.

Gearing up towards the start of our 2018 Summer Tennis Season (June 2 - Sept 22), Kings County Tennis League is looking for a graphic designer to work with KCTL staff on freelance design projects. One of the projects we need assistance with is the production and layout of our 2017 Annual Report. Other opportunities will arise at the completion of this project. Options for compensation can be discussed over the phone.

Graphic Design Students enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate level courses are strongly encouraged to apply.
