SUMMER IN AFRICA - Voluntourism Opportunities
Are you adventurous, love food, love new cultures and love volunteering whenever an opportunity presents itself? Well, consider joining us on our trip to Kenya in July for 2 weeks and get involved with our cause, projects, and workshops; helping and partnering with young men and women; teaching them international culinary skills and techniques as well as an introduction to permaculture lifestyle.
The FOODIES WITHOUT BORDERS popup cooking school will be hosted at the "Ole Nguso Sustainable Eco-Farm", just 2 hours outside Nairobi and close to the border of Kenya and Tanzania which is within a clear view of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. Our team of volunteer chefs and certified permaculturists will host the classes and encourage all volunteers to participate as well. Let’s savor the native dishes of Kenya and chew on international cuisines that are trending all around Nairobi. Let’s get our hands dirty at the food forest in “Ole Nguso” as we plant more organic and sustainable foods. Our itinerary will also bring us to the beach in Malindi for a Q & A session and beach dinner party with our beneficiaries. This is a once in a lifetime Foodie Safari to Kenya, from July 01-July 15, 2018. It begins and ends in Nairobi Kenya. Let's capture the adventure with photos and on film, lets make a difference and help others!
