The Learners Lab Foundation is a national incubator charity. We develop products and services, and establish resource connections that help ignored, underserved and emerging markets of workers and start-up charities accomplish what they need in order to move forward. Our Charitable Workforce Training & Fiscal Sponsorship Programs, our Workforce Connections Service, and our Executive Management Fellowship Academy were each created as and to provide open, unrestricted access to the resources and opportunities that are out of reach.
The Learners Lab Foundation is poised to launch the beginning of a large portfolio of web/web portal products under different domain names, each supporting and/or driving one our programs; in some cases the website WILL be the program. Most will operate by our customer/users providing the content or resources made available on our websites to their peers.
The Learners Lab Foundation needs a Volunteer Shopping Cart Developer expert in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of WordPress, HTML, and HTML/CSS Shopping Carts that can interface with Authorize.Net, PayPal and DonationPay.
You will report to the Foundation's Chief Technology Officer and assist with back-end support for a what is now a small but growing portfolio of web site/portals, and a main website that introduces all the Foundations programs, products, services and supports.
** 3+ years as a web design and development WITH at least 3 years of custom shopping cart design and development
** Knowledge of Apache, DNS, Hosted Services, MySQL, PhP, WHM, cPanel
** Knowledge of online payment system, payment architecture, eStores
** Knowledge of WooCommerce, WP Plug-Ins, APIs, Stake Overflows
** Knowledge of or some experience Amazon Smile and Google Analytics helpful
** Advanced web-site systems & browser troubleshooting skills, especially with web server, site or DNS errors,
** Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, and operate remotely without supervision
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
** Degree from accredited college/university or degree in progress with at least 3 years experience
** IAAP or DHS Trusted Tester Program (TT) Certification for Section 508 Compliance welcome
** VPS, Web Design & Hosting, social media website integration
