Description

Become a conservation volunteer in locations across Australia and New Zealand. Volunteers will have the opportunity to carry out tree planting, trail construction, wildlife surveying, invasive species control and a range of other environmental volunteer projects. Volunteer as part of a team and meet new people from across Australia and the world.


You can volunteer in Australia or New Zealand for between 2 weeks and 12 weeks in duration.

Individuals, groups and students are all welcome.


This project is a great opportunity for people with a love of the outdoors and an interest in the environment to take part as a volunteer on pratical conservation projects. Volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and no prior skills or experience are required, and volunteer projects are available to suit your availability and particular interests.


These conservation volunteering projects are managed in conjunction with project partners that may include regional councils, national parks, museums, landcare groups, conservation departments and other national conservation agencies in Australia & New Zealand.

If you are interested in joining this project, you will need to fill out the online application form (you can also print it out and send it to us by post) – to secure a placement on the project, please complete and submit the form including two references and your deposit of £180. If for some reason, your application is declined, we will reimburse this deposit fully. However for those who are accepted, the full amount needs to be paid one month before departure. Once you have been accepted on the programme, you will receive a Volunteer Information Package with all detailed information on your project, suggested items to bring etc.
