We’re an all-volunteer team inspired by the impact of free tutoring in our local communities. We’ve seen the challenges in meeting people who need our help or arranging where and when to meet. Our clients would say the same thing.

This led us to create Tutoria, an online platform connecting seekers of knowledge services with volunteers eager to make a difference.

Volunteers and clients can join our site at They select their interests (English tutoring, US Citizenship, or legal aid) and availability. They then connect with one another via direct message.

The Opportunities

Both roles below allow for working remotely.

1) Marketing/Partner Outreach

We are seeking a team of coordinators to build awareness of our unique platform. The team would be responsible for identifying and developing community partners and other advertising channels to supply volunteers and clients to the site.

Once the site has more users, the team would also update our Facebook page ( and manage other social media and communications as needed.

2) Community Manager

We are seeking a community manager to help clients and volunteers maximize their experience on our web application. Tasks would include pro-actively working with clients or volunteers who may need assistance, responding to concerns of prospective clients and volunteers, and proposing enhancements to the application.
