Description

The city of Saint-Peray is located in Ardèche, above Valence, with a large panorama on the Mounts Vercors, the Mount Ardèche and the Rhône Valley from the majestic Crussol Castle. This fortress, standing on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Rhone valley, controlled a communication route which was very popular since ancient times. The community around the Castle wishes to host volunteers for dynamic exchanges during the summer while participating in the restoration of the built heritage.

The international volunteers will work for 3 weeks alongside, if possible, teenagers from the town on the renovation of the built heritage located near the castle. The rehabilitation of a medieval castle according to the rules of heritage restoration will contribute to the preservation and enhancement of this important site of the region.
