How To Apply

mbaudoin@aocinc.org
http://www.aocinc.org/be-a-volunteer/

Volunteers must be able to arrive at AOC Community Media at 8:30am to review the articles prior to going live on the air at 9am. We usually pair 2 readers together so there will be another volunteer reading with you. Each volunteer reads for about 10 minutes worth of articles and then the other volunteers reads for about 10 minutes and they go back and forth this way until we go off of the air for 10am. Please call us at 337.232.4434 ext 216 if you have any questions or e-mail Mary Baudoin at mbaudoin@aocinc.org. Visit www.aocinc.org and complete a volunteer application if you are interested in volunteering.

We recommend that new volunteers attend an observation of the reading program prior to being placed on the schedule to read on the air. This helps the volunteer become acclimated with the process and receive a tour of the studio.
