WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

2.6M New Yorkers cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal. Tonight 63,101 people will sleep in NYC shelters and 15,553 families will sleep in homeless shelters.

WHAT WE DO

For the last 18 years, we have put together boxes with frozen turkeys and all the fixings to cook a thanksgiving meal and delivered to families-in-need at shelters throughout New York. To date, we have fed over 70,000 families so far.

In the past few years, the program has grown to over 700 volunteers, 8,000 boxes, increase fundraising, increase press and celebrity attendance and a card 4 kids program where kids make holiday cards in school and it gets included in the boxes delivered to the families.

We are growing so that we can make more of an impact and change more lives.

This is why we are looking for you!
