Description

If you love helping your community OR just love being among beautiful plants, join us on Sundays from 9am to noon in Fort Independence Park in the Bronx. Jerome Park Friends and Neighbors, in conjunction with Partnership for Parks, maintains the planting beds in this historic park and original site of a Revolutionary War fort, the first Belmont Stakes and the Jerome Park Reservoir. No previous experience required. Bring water and snacks and we will provide the tools. If you are a large group or under the age of 18, please email jeromeparkfans@gmail.com and let us know you are coming.


NOTE: we will not be working in the park on Memorial Day weekend or in August.

You are welcome to join us any time for as long as you are able. No previous experience necessary. If you are a group or under 18 years old, please email us so that we can plan for you. All student groups must be accompanied by a chaperone and require a permission form.
