What is Stamp Out Hunger?


It's a nationwide food drive that the mail carriers do to help end world hunger. They collect food and donate it to a local non-profit organizations, such as ourselves, to help distribute the food to individuals in need.

Stamp Out Hunger Shifts


Date: Saturday May 12th

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm

Location: Clairemont Post Office, 5052 Clairemont Dr, San Diego, CA 92117 

# of Volunteers: 15 openings per shift

Tasks: Collecting, sorting, and moving donated food from USPS workers into containers and then in JFS vehicles. Helping maintain the donation area by breaking down boxes, cleaning, and recycling items.


Warehouse Shifts


Date: Saturday May 12th

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm

Location: Jewish Family Service Warehouse, 8804 Balboa Ave. San Diego, CA 92123 

# of Volunteers: 15 openings per shift

Tasks: Organizing, sorting, and storing donated food from JFS vehicles into the JFS warehouse.


Warehouse Shifts


Date: Wednesday May 16th

Time: 4:00pm-6:00pm

Location: Jewish Family Service Warehouse, 8804 Balboa Ave. San Diego, CA 92123 

# of Volunteers: 15 openings

Tasks: Organizing, sorting, and assembling food bags post Stamp Out Hunger
