About Us

INKspire is a non-profit organization that strives to empower youth voices by providing a curated web platform where young people can share their ideas and perspectives on various relevant and contemporary issues across Canada and around the world.


  • Develop medium and long-term strategic plans and proposals for the enhancement and expansion of INKspire’s capacity to pursue its main objective
  • Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on all aspects of INKspire’s affairs such as financial position, budgeting, training, public image, and future planning
  • Oversee and audit the organization’s use of assets, resources, people, and good will
  • Ensure organization is in accordance with ethical practices, applicable laws and acts of its jurisdiction
  • Guide key decision makers of the organization, ensure adherence to its stated corporate purposes, and that its activities promote and advance its mission
  • Establish operating policies and procedures, consistent with the general guidelines set by the Board of Directors
  • Monitor and review management’s performance in spearheading initiatives and achieving organizational objectives
  • Promote a high standard of excellence and professionalism in the conduct of INKspire’s affairs and public image
  • Seek new avenues for the pursuit of INKspire’s objectives
  • Any other duties the Board may require


  • Highly effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and respond with sensitivity
  • Good organizational and administrative skills, and able to manage a variety of tasks
  • Ability to maintain records and produce clear written and oral reports
  • Passionate about youth leadership and empowerment
  • Experience in compliance and strategic planning
  • Worked or volunteered in a non-profit setting
