Description

Egirdir municipality which is a “Citta Slow”, hosted many volunteer projects in the past, and will host a new group this year. The small local zoo of the town needs some voluntary contribution of landscaping, clearing and cleaning works.

The volunteers will work in Egirdir's zoo. They will have various duties: renovation, painting, waste collecting, etc.

Egirdir is a lovely, peaceful and traditional town by a lake. It lies in the south-west of Turkey. The nearest city is Isparta.


Project dates: August 1 - August 16, 2018

The project will start in Istanbul with an orientation meeting that all volunteers should attend on the first day of the project. The group will travel together to the project site by an overnight coach on the same evening.
