Description

Lawndale Christian Legal Center (LCLC) is welcoming in our second MAC House class. MAC House is a job readiness and life skills program that enables young people 18 years and older to learn skills that prepare them to work as welders, carpenters, plumbers, construction workers, etc. LCLC is looking for mentors who have worked, currently work, or have experience in any number of hard skills trades.

As a mentor, you would be responsible for corresponding with your mentee and meeting with them at least once every two weeks. Meetings can be going out to eat, playing a sport, or just hanging out. Mentors will be tasked with helping mentees learn some basic skills (how to use a measuring tape, the importance of being on time, how to be professional on a job site, etc.). If you are interested, please contact Hogan Brock at hbrock@lclc.net or call at 773-762-6381.
