About Us:

PureBlue is a mission-driven 501c3 organization based in Seattle, Washington, that is uniquely positioned to collaborate with partners to bring forward innovative powerful solutions in the water space. By concentrating on technology, education and communication, we are developing a strong community of professionals from industry, government and non-profit entities, and academics committed to create The New World of Water.

PureBlue’s sister organization, Aqualyst is a business catalyst for water technologies spanning water management, water analytics, water and waste water management, and conservation and habitat restoration. Aqualyst helps early and mid-stage bluetech companies cross the chasm between working prototype and commercial sales. The catalyst program runs for 14 weeks with an additional 15 months of ongoing collaboration. This year’s cohort of 7 companies are working on innovative and game-changing water technology solutions.


About the event and volunteer position:

The 2018 Aqualyst Cohort launches Aug 6, 2018 with one week of workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, and networking events, ending on Aug 10, 2018. The launch week will be attended by water industry experts, entrepreneurs, government officials, and other regional sustainability leaders. We’re looking for a volunteer to help coordinate the launch week in collaboration with the Aqualyst Program Manager.  

You are someone who:

  • Is a startup enthusiast
  • Can take initiative to find creative solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Can coordinate day-of logistics in setting up the event space and food
  • Cares for our planet, particularly water.


Has some prior event management experience (Preferred). We can accommodate your schedule although we prefer individuals who can help throughout the week.
