Description

We're looking for compassionate, patient, and committed individuals to help seniors grocery shop or do other errands! Volunteers may help make grocery lists, shop at the supermarket and deliver groceries to seniors who are homebound and living in the Upper East Side and East Harlem neighborhoods. This is a great way to get to know a senior and it also serves the crucial function of ensuring that seniors have food in their homes. This fun and fulfilling program asks that volunteers assist seniors at least once a month or as often as the senior requests.
