Description

Meet new people. Learn new skills. Make a difference. That's what our volunteers do everyday on Habitat work sites.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven works with partner families to build and restore homes in New Haven and Hamden. We are looking for volunteers to join our construction crew on a regular or semi-regular basis during the week. We work Tuesday-Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on various sites. No previous experience is required and our construction staff will provide the training and tools needed on the site.

All construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and need to complete a volunteer waiver.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference, connect with others, and gain skills in construction, painting, and landscaping. Every home building project is unique and there is always exciting work to be done!
