Volunteers needed for Weekly Intramural Basketball Program

DESCRIPTION

Our Intramural Basketball program center at Creston Point Apartments runs every Thursdays from 5-8 pm. We are seeking volunteers who can commit to attending programming at least 2 times per month. We are also seeking flexible substitute volunteers who can come on an as needed or on call basis.

Volunteer applications are accepted throughout the year. Training and support will be provided. The program is generally closed during school holidays.

Basketball Program Support Skills: Patience and a positive, friendly attitude are a must. Willingness to balance structured lesson time with fun scrimmage time. Ability to lead a small group of youth, a desire to mentor and build relationships with youth.
