Make a REAL difference in Colombia with Love Volunteers Urban Conservation and Recycling Program






We all know the importance of recycling and protecting our environment. How many of us really practice what we preach however and actually do something more than simply throwing the right item in recycling can? Well this is your chance to make a difference! This is a multi-faceted environmental program focused on recycling education and programs in beautiful Cartagena in Colombia. A tourism hub and UNESCO World Heritage listed city, this is a wonderful place to explore, experience the culture and help with an important environmental project. From designing programs to working within the community on beach clean ups and other projects, this program offers something for every international volunteer to help make a difference.

How To Apply

Love Volunteers welcomes all those 20 years and over who wish to give their time and energy to help protect the natural environment of Colombia. This 'hands-on' project is best suited to those who are either pursuing a career in conservation/environmental studies, or who simply wish to explore an interest in this field. However, the project is open to all and does not require participants to have specific education, qualifications or experience, as you will be shown everything you need to know by your local project leader. Importantly though, all applicants must first and foremost have a genuine willingness to help, show drive and initiative, and bring a positive 'can-do' attitude.
