Description

Volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity ReStores is an exciting way to give back to your community! The ReStores are Habitat for Humanity's home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used home goods and building materials. 100% of profits from sales fund the construction of the homes for Habitat partner families. By volunteering at the ReStore, you help Habitat for Humanity build more affordable homes for deserving families!

Volunteer activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting customers as they arrive into the store.
  • Assisting and answering customer’s questions about merchandise or ReStore policies.
  • Assiting with loading or unloading donations from donor vehicle or ReStore truck.
  • Inspecting and approving donations, ensuring they meet ReStore donation guidelines.
  • Cleaning, organizing, and stocking merchandise display shelves and items.
  • Creating attractive and unique visual displays for various departments.
