Description

Role purpose

To assist the Women’s Project Manager with the running of the office in order to provide support to refugee, migrant and asylum seeker women who are affected by gender based violence, domestic violence and harmful traditions including FGM and forced marriage. You will also play an important role in helping with research partnership opportunities to make sure that we offer the most cost-effective and comprehensive service to our clients.


Specific responsibilities:

1. To support the Project Manager to explore partnership opportunities, starting with organisations in Lewisham:

  • Carry out online research
  • Discuss with Project Manager/team how we can work creatively with other partners
  • Make contact with third parties
  • Outreach and events attendance


2. To facilitate the efficient operation of the Project:

  • To help organise the office space in an orderly manner
  • Take a lead in archiving old files, which includes contacting clients by letter
  • Input client data on database


3. To support the Project’s communications:

  • Leaflets design
  • Email marketing
  • Occasional fundraising activities


Other

  • Promote and support the vision, mission and aims of LRMN
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures and guidelines of LRMN
