Description

Heart of Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is recruiting volunteers who want to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of FOSTER CHILDREN who have been taken out of their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. CASAs are people who give 10-12 hours each month to advocate, monitor, and facilitate on behalf of an abused or neglected child who is in the custody of the state. These hurting kids need you to be the consistent person in their lives. We offer intensive TRAINING to allow you to become the VOICE OF THE CHILD. After training you will become a non attorney officer of the court. CASA service provides a unique opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child in need.

Contact us at hello@homcasa.org, our website www.homcasa.org, or by phone at 573-442-4670 if you are at least 21 years old and willing to commit approximately 10 hours a month for 2 years. Next training class starts SOON. Classes offered 3 times a year.
