From Nest to Wings provides tools and trusted resources to all high school students, parents and guardians as they navigate the transition to post high school educational opportunities.

The Fundraising Coordinator should have the following experience and attributes:

·        Excellent people skills and experience working with a diverse and dynamic team.

·        Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the nonprofit sector.

·        Experience should include budget and resource development.

·        Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of fundraising, creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systems.

·        Proven effectiveness in leading volunteers including training, evaluation, and motivation.

·        Demonstrated technical abilities to allow for effective tracking of all programs digitally and to assist the treasure with all financial records.

·        Flexible self-starter who is able to multitask while also being highly detail-oriented.

·        Demonstrated personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to From Nest to Wings.

 

1.     Train and supervise the Grant, Donor/Campaign, Sponsorship, and Fundraising Event Manager positions

2.     Coordinate activities of manager positions to assure that resources and supplies are available

3.     Create, or participate in, written review of all duties completed, programs and events in which the Administrative staff participates.

4.     Evaluate all Administrative staff annually

5.     Recruit for manager positions within administrative area

6.     Assure fulfillment of all responsibilities in administrative area should a staff member not be available for a particular day, event, or program

7.      Represent the interests of the Fundraising staff at all Coordinator meetings, with the Executive Director and with the Board of Directors

8.     Evaluate all programs in conjunction with the managers and implement improvements

9.     Build relationships with the From Nest to Wings donors, sponsors, and grant administrators

10. Serve on the Coordinator and FN2W Work Teams

11. Complete tasks assigned by the Executive Director in an organized and timely fashion

NOTE: From Nest to Wings will provide training and opportunities for continuing education.

It is projected that this position will take 30-40 hours per month with fluctuations based on the Nest programming calendar.
